I take it he means put the double sided tape on closer to the outer edge of the flare. Don't peel the "cover" off of the whole tape facing the truck, just enough to pull through the top of the flare. Bolt on the flare then apply pressure to the flare while pulling off the tape "cover" through the top of the flare. Basically bolt on the flare then pull the tape off.
You said it.
Thanks for clarifying this for me.

And yes my tires are 26" tall (255-45-17's).

No problem. Didn't know the next time you'd be in here, haven't seen anything from you in a while. How do they look in person. I want to get 285/40 for the rear and 255/45 up front but don't know if they'll look too small.

I like how they look over all. I never rub or anything with them one.
I do have 2" Belltech drop coils up front too.
They even cleared very well with my 3" DJM Drop arms.

I'll try to get a side shot tomorrow of how it looks currently with the 2/4 drop and flares on for ya.

Well said, thanks.

I've heard that the smaller chrome wheel well trim pieces are prone to causing the body to start rusting, but I've never heard anything like that about these OEM flares. Why is that?
Its if they rub against the paint. My oem flares are causing rusting because they are connected to the molded muddflaps and they move the flare around too much.
