I picked up a 01 Durango overhead console with homelink for cheap. I have the overhead console in my 99 Dakota with the computer. I know I will have to switch out the computers for them to work.
My question is on the mounting bracket. I took my console off and put the 01 Durango on. It fits but not flush. I can get the screw in the front in just fine but it leaves a gap around the front half. After looking at if further I noticed they are just a tad different on the front part of the consoles.
If I find the mounting bracket for an 01 Durango console will it replace the 99 Dakota console without any mods? Or am I just wasting my time trying to install homelink?
