still no rotors or hoses in the mail, grrr.....

oh well, I got everything painted and ready except for one spindle I couldn't get any of the bolts for the dust shield to break loose. I'll have to either find an impact or grind them off, but that dust shield is coming off before it goes on my truck.

anyways, here's a teaser :)

update!

the EBC pads come with rubber shims, they apply as follows:

back side (piston side):

Front side(I cut out more so you could still see the green):

the caliper bracket gets these two springs:

loading the pads into the bracket:

first slide one end into the bracket:

and then the other:

then slide the caliper over the bracket, line up the bolts, and tighten it all down, and the end result is this:

more to come!

looking good! just make sure you put the calipers on the first time ;)

ok, so I finally got everything but the hoses in the mail, but I couldnt wait another 2 weeks for the still backordered SS hoses to come in. bought a cheap set to hold me over till the SS ones show up.

didnt take many pictures, so no writeup, but it was a fairly straightforward swap. take off all the old stuff, put in new stuff, lol. I will say this though, you may have to bend the new lines a little bit to get them fit perfect.

havent put many miles on them yet, so I havent gotten into the brakes hard yet, but I'll update when I do

Nice!

So how to the brakes feel in comparison to the old calipers?
