So... We have Godspeed(another fourm) said he could deff make it if we had it at Zmax,...

So would same date/time at Zmax dragway work?
its around exit 50 off 85

Let me know if this is better/worse for anyone... If noone speaks up we will change it the next few days...

Hope like hell I get my locker in by the meet:stirthepo

Unless I cancel my order from 4wheelparts its backordered from Richmond Gear until the end of the month :(.

You need to bring this up on other forums as well. Their are others coming from a quite a bit away that might not be able to change plans. (Just saying). Also has anybody spoke with anyone at Zmax???? I know everyone wants to go to Zmax and play, but we might not be able to even get into the complex. IDK, I dont know anything about it. But my thought is, that so far the plan has been to meet in gastonia, so lets do that. Now if we want to make another meet and go to the track, then lets make another one. But keep the anual meet, the same. And make a second meet at the track.

But James...we never got to race at Palmetto:D.


Nah I kinda agree though, despite me being a cheapass and having to drive even farther for Gastonia that was kind of the original plan, and its the "annual" meet. Would probably cause problems with other potential attendees. Now I don't care where we go in the end either way, both are awesome candidates.

So i guess we are keeping it at Gastoina... lol... We could meet up and then drive up to the track for the people wanting to go there( i will go up there anyways, they have a GREAT beef jerkey place lol)... but also a good point on the talking to Zmax people...

Personally I will show up where ever the meet is held, I am was just trying to speak for people that hadnt read, or posted this yet. Like Corey said. Zmax is a closer drive for me, but I think maybe try and get this as a summer/fall meet, and get on the track, if we can. And Corey, NO!!! I aight racing you. lol

Yeah, definitely should try to start an annual Zmax meet later on lol, now thats a meet I wouldn't miss!

I expect zmax is quite a bit to rent out for a day, I think we would have to do it on an test and tune day or with a few other clubs in order to lessen the cost of rental per person. But as Midnight said, there are other drag strips in the area. There is an 1/8 mile in Mooresville which isnt as nice, but i bet it wouldnt too expensive.

thats the one im talking about... "dirty MO" thursdays and i think sundays its 15$ to race all night. and 7 per person to watch

We dont have to rent out a small track... We could just go run on the day of the meet, if they run that day... I will take it out on the track if we find a ford Focus to run! lol :drive:

Like I said, I dont know anything about drag strips. All of my racing background are based on right and left turns. lol I dont know when anything runs or have test and tunes. But def something to look into for a future meet.

maybe it is saturdays... its one or the other.. to be honest, i dont think there running right now b/c they usually run when its above 65 i think....
