I'm also curious. Stock fogs don't last long for a daily driver. I think the PIAA's are the best bet, although pricey, I think they might be better quality.
 
I had PIAA 510s in my dak and loved them. Mine were the driving light version and were very bright, probably more so than my headlights. As colodak said there is an adapter to get them to mount up, but I was able to fabricate something pretty easily.

they are very bright, one word of caution, they are a glass lense and will heat stress crack if they are on and get wet rain/splashback. PIAA offers a clear bra for them or you can have one cut for them from a clear bra shop. If you have it done, make sure they use thick enough clear bra or it will melt.

Yep, I had a few lenses crack on me, PIAA was good about sending replacements, the clear bra is a good idea.

Is this like a clear vinyl i can get from anywhere or is it specific? can i get a pic of ur home brew mounts?:waiting:
 
I just want to know how to make one, have alot of resources to make brackets and stuff just need a design idea.
so how did you mount them after, any pics?
