What kind of aftermarket hood did you get, and why did you decide upon that particular hood? There are a lot of hood on the market. Which one did you get, how was the fit, and are you happy with it? If you could do it again would you get the same one or something different?

I got the srt10 hood from Moore performance. I got it cause it looks pimp with my grill....also there was a GB on it. The fit is great except for gap on the sides of the hood (in between the hood and the fenders). I love this hood, but if i would do it again, i would go with the open element version instead of the CAI version.....or the viper hood (cowl hood) if i could find one

I also got the SRT hood from Moore Performance. There are alot of pictures of it in the parts section of the site, but feel free to browse around my photobucket album (link in sig)...I've got quite a number of pics.

For a fiberglass hood, it has real nice fit IMO. It could be better if you had the time or money to have someone really do it up nice but its good. I picked it because of its uncanny resemblance to the real SRT-10 Ram hood...they did a super job of duplicating the look. It looks factory the way the lines match.

I jsut picked up My Reflexions 2's steel cowl hood 2 hours ago and it's still sitting in my bed. I got it because I love cowl hoods and it's steel and fits like stock. It was a good price as well $399.00 from Stylin Concepts. The truck is going in the shop in a few weeks to get it painted and some other stuff done as well.

Currently I have the Keystone "viper" Good Hood. I got it because I liked the way it looks and it's fiberglass so it's light. I am switching to a Reflexxions cowl hood which I bought a couple months ago though. The hood scoop on the Keystone hood has been causing some issues as my Durango gets faster. It's causing lift and I can actually see it lifting when I go down the dragstrip. I'm actually going to get the steel hood copied in fiberglass though so it's the cowl hood, just light. I'll probably get the new one on sometime this winter.

I second this comment on the Cervini's. I too have an SS hood on my Dakota. Its fit and finish is second to none! And I also have their Mach I style hood on my 93 Mustang. Ive had that hood on my Mustang for over 8 years and its still in great shape.

I have a cervinis hood as well. I chose is because the previous owner installed it, but I love it! It looks great and the fitment is good. The hood and swapping in a 360, some of the only things the PO did right. haha
