Hell, if you just take out the damn ignition key you can't use them anymore. I really wish someone could come up with a window that can be rolled manually or electronically.

I also don't like how the simple button controls provide no feedback on how much the window is rolling or how fast. It kinda reminds me of how radio designers insist on using >> and << buttons for changing stations even though a dial is far more intuitive.

Oh, and I don't know anyone whose fingers were crushed with manual windows.

I'm a fan of having a manual window for MY door (even moreso after being in a rollover accident), but I'd actually like to have the window on the passenger side set for electric because I hate it when someone taps on my passenger window and I have to stretch across the truck to roll down that window.

yeah, my power window is messed up a bit in my car, but I can still roll down the windows on the other side of my car with no hassle at all. I will take power windows over manuals all day long.

I'm thinking it's a switch problem, not the motor...you proved it would go down, reversing the 2 wires on the motor is what the switch does to make it go up...motor works, I say control switch problem

before I took out the motor, I would have supplied power & ground with 2 wires with connector unplugged before I condemned the motor
