iv'e passed 40k and thought it was time for a tune up on my 03 durango.
i took it to a mechanic my buddy recommended and he said wires were fine, air filter was okay, and i think he said the fuel cap cannot be changed or serviced on durangos because their underneath the fuel tank. i ended up paying 151 to change the spark plugs, they were champion brand or something like that ,

does all this sound right? and was it a fair price?

i though 4.7's were coil on plug

also, wtf with the fuel cap?

Shit, i never have and never would pay someone 150 bucks to do spark plugs.

You realize spark plugs are like what, 2 dollars, maybe 4 if you go with the best NGK, times 8, that's 32 dollars. so 120 in labor, and every time i ever did plugs, it's like a 20 minute job on a magnum, maybe an hour on the 4.7 cause theres more things in the way, but still, damn..

he did mention somethin about coil plugs and nothin about the fuel cap

150 for a plug change is way to high.... could have done it yourself for less than half.

fuel filter is in the tank.
