Alarm Question

I have a Viper keyfob which is equipped with auto-start and lock/unlock but no alarm. I was wondering if i could hook an alarm into my truck and use my current keyfob for it. Anyone know?

Model of keyfob is: RPN 7641V

You can do something, but it will be a wiring nightmare and a waste.

DEI use a lot of the same plugs and harnesses. Go out and get an alarm combo and finish wiring in the alarm the right way. You will get new remotes too, but depending on the model you have, the ones you have *might* be able to be programmed to the new system.
