Iron Maiden,Owners of Rock and Roll Ribs.In south Florida.:mullet:

I'm pretty old school I guess. Priest, Maiden, Slayer, Metallica (preBlack album) Megadeth, etc. But I like a ton of stuff really.
An assload of old thrash that should've made it bigger:
Vio-Lence
Dead On
Annhilator
Forbidden
Coroner
Celtic Frost
and more

Last two albums I bought this year:
Candlemass - Death Magic Doom
Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier

I guess that's the first sign of getting old - I still can't wrap my head around that style of metal - the way it's screamed/grunted, not the music.

After a summer full of classic/mainstream rock concerts, it's time to get back into a little bit of the heavier stuff. Slayer/Megadeth/Anthrax, Godsmack/Five Finger Death Punch/Drowning Pool, A Perfect Circle, and Avenged Sevenfold. I might also run down to the strip this weekend, Sick Puppies is doing a free gig for a radio station's Octoberfest party.

a lot of older people feel the same way. Idk how long you listen to Avenged but they used scream a lot more.

I used to listen to Godsmack, Avenged, Atreyu and thats what lead me into this other style of metal.

Ah, you guys are gonna love this one. New band I just found, or found me through a youtube message lol.

I got that message too. They are from italy.
Yup^^ I can't find that song anywhere though, except the music video, but their album is coming out sometime in spring.

Some of you guys might love this new band, I do!! Recently released their first album, guitarist from KSE.

Not sure if some would label Black Label Society as "metal" but I think they're technically in that "genre". Anyway - this is one of my favorite songs off their new album. Going to see them June 5th with Rev Theory and Hail the Villian! :mullet:

If you guys like some of the new metal out there but dont like all the screaming and growling this band has some pretty catch riffs and plenty of good guitar work.
