Aids sick..

Can't wait to see the finished project

Shouldn't of slid the bed back some :/ I'm pretty sure the guy who painted my truck left the handles on but not fully sure. Looks fine though. Paint looks pretty neat though! I'd buy at least an extra half gallon to keep. I've went through over a gallon of one stage IB paint from painting my engine component brackets, valve covers, traction bars, control arms, ect lol

Were your handles painted prior to paint?

Banana had his painted already so it shouldn't be such a big deal. But mine were not painted prior to painting so when ever I pull up on the handle you can see the black plastic with overspray inside the handles. My paint on the handles are now chipping because of this.

My handles were already painted, so that was why we kept them in place. We used almost 2 gallons of base, but we put the coats on thick, use the tack wipes after the 2nd and 5th coat, did 7 coats of base total, had a lot of primer, then 3 coats of violet pearl, and 3 coats of the euro clear. I'll get sunlight pics when I pick it up sunday and then take it to get the locker installed. The truck was wet sanded today, and buffed tomorrow.

Did ya spray the back of the cab between the bed and cab?
The gun will spray about 8 inches down, so you can't see anything, he has 25 years experience, all he has done his life is paint/body, and build supras. I trust him. Now it's time to build the lt1 he just picked up, it's for his wife, but for $1400, all titanium top end, guide plates etc, nice cam, 175 shot, line lock etc, going to pull the motor and try to get some more dead on dial stickers!

Mine were black before but the painter primed them right on the truck, than sprayed them when he did the truck. No paint lines around them or anything since he did everything in color and clear at the same time.

exactly:) Why there wasn't a need to remove them! All we had to do was cover the key hole. The wet sanding is done, buffing now. I'll take it back in 2 weeks and have the sides skimmed, he said it looks amazing, I can't wait to find out sunday!
