Well the title just about sums it up. I'm a member of a few different online forums but needing some specific advice for my Durango. I know how to use a search button and most times I've started a topic, I have a very specific question, or trying to clarify something. I'll usually browse around during the day when I'm not to busy and If I see something that I might be able to help with I'll throw my .02 in.
I come with more electrical knowledge then I thought was possible a few years ago (thanks mainly to my job and working with schematics and a multi-meter all day). Know a fair share in most other subjects, but as with every other vehicle it depends on the manufacturer on how stuff is assembled and what makes what work. I know more then a fair share about fabrication of parts and welding/plasma cutting.
My vehicle is a 1998 Dodge Durango SLT 4X4; 5.9, 46RE
Basic Mods;
-Ram Air Intake,
-Custom 2.5 inch mandrel bent SS exhaust w/ Flow Master Super 44.
-Trans-go valve body reprogram kit.
-Detroit True Track Lockers (Front and Rear ).
-Wrangler Authority 31/10.50/R15 Tires (work decently in mud).
Major Upgrades/Repairs;
-New built 46RE (my avatar will explain why... oops).
-Rebuilt Transfer Case
Projects that I'm planning to complete within the next 2-3 years (in order they are needed);
-Engine Rebuild (Budget)
-New Drivers front fender (rusted through)
-New Bumpers front and rear (probably going to be built by me)
-New rear hatch (starting to show signs of rust under paint)
-5.5 In. Tough Country Suspension Lift kit
-3 In. Body lift (there will be gap guard, even if I have to build them)
-408 Stroker (still working on planning this out)
Well hope this site is all its panned up to be (keep getting sent over here for info) and hope there is plenty that I'll be able to help out with.
Eric.
One question I do have now that I've previewed the post, Does this forum have a spell check?
