I have been lurking in Dak-Dur for some time, having joined in 2008. Women by virtue of their sex don't know a lot of what makes a car run. When repairs are needed we are easily taken advantage of. "Your watchamacallit needs replacing" Oh, ok, do it then. I have been taken many times when I owned a GM product. But when I bought a Dodge I checked out websites and found Dak-Dur. I read troubleshooters and other threads involved with problems involving the Durango or 5.9 engine. At least now I have some knowledge and can hold my own when a service center tries to give me the business and make money off my stupidity. I wish to thank all those who take their time to inform others or cures, symptoms, and other info related to their vehicles. All I know is that it has helped me. By the way, are there any other women on this site?

I came on here for a little info about a problem I was having with my truck when I first bought it. Then found other interesting things to read and saw some nicely modded trucks. Was just going to keep mine the 2 tone blue that it WAS and be happy with it figureing I had lost the hot rodding bug when I sold my Challenger.
Now look at it! I could`nt just get a simple repaint..nooooooo...had to go wayyyy overboard on everything. Now I can`t stop myself..I`m addicted,sick,in need of serious help! I sold Booger to my kid but now I can`t stop on my new 4x4. Just bought rims for it cus they were a good deal! they`re nicer than the truck they are going on but i just can`t help myself.
Before you get infected too... run..run...RUN!! Block this site from you computer and save yourself!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH

for me, all I wanted was a little bit bigger tires to fit at stock ride height! nowww look what it has evolved into! STEVE PLEASE BAN ME FOR A YR!!!!

I know when Yahoo messenger and chat rooms were big , my wife and I would go in and spend time chatting , well she would get hit on by every guy in the room asking for pics or cam, while i was bored out of my mind!!!!!!GUYs will be GUYS LOL ,but yes this is a great place for ppl to get all kinds of info on there trucks and lots of other great topics. :wave:
i love this site, it helped me figure out and learn soo much about my durango and now my dakota, for example the heater controls ventg location didnt work, i though i broke something when i put my flip out radio in, but instead it was when i did a tune up i pulled the little vac line off of the "T" by the firewall, a member helped me with that, plus i get endless hours of awesome pics and vids of durango and dakota
