I can appreciate the ton of bodywork on the front end. Looks like a Dodge Magnum grille, maybe Ram headlights. Anyone remember seeing on Dak-Dur the '50 Studebaker bullet nose front end on a Gen3? That gets my vote. BTW, lowered Daks are great when playing with snakes LOL.

I teied once in the back of my XJ Cherokee (wife's daily; unfortunately that one is a more door) and had an awful hard time doing so..
the bed much like an Exploder Sport Trac is too short to be very useful, I would have no choice but to put a roof rack onto it like a contractors' truck for a QC to be very useful as I do use my trucks as well; TRUCKS!

Not much of a fan of the drop or the rims on the top one - although the rare factor of the convertable Dakota remains.

Same thing for the red one - not much of a fan of the graphics, but otherwise you could get a stepside bed on the Warrior Dakota or lil red Dakota.

Rare doesn't make them any less ugly. In fact being ugly can be the reason it is rare. For example nobody bought that ugly truck so there aren't many around. The step side is personal taste, I have never liked a step side made after 1957. But the drop top just needs a double diamond dancing bed to complete the picture. Remember those?
