Well i have been trolling the board for a couple months now, so i finally decided to join. I picked up a 99 amethyst SLT Durango about 4 months ago. I originally bought it to flip and make some cash, but after i rebuilt the trans. I couldn't sell it because i ended up falling in love with it. I have owned a couple Jeep GC's but I think the Durango is a superior truck. So far i have only done a few things to the truck. I put 8k hid's in the headlights and in the fogs. 3 of the 6 speakers in the truck were blown when i purchased it, so i replaced them with JBL grand touring series (which at the moment are my favorite speakers for the price). I also added an 8 in. sub under the rear seats. The wheels were in pretty bad shape, so i had them powder coated semi gloss black. At the moment the rear hatch is very rusty. I picked one up from a local guy parting one out. I am waiting on the body guy at work to paint it. I just picked up a gator gaurd kit (line X). I plan on spraying the front and rear bumper and fender flares and the bottom of the doors with it. Anyway i have a few plans, but nothing major. I would like to pick up a westin bull bar and some lights, but we will see. I am an automotive technician, and work at a Buick dealer. Just thought i would introduce myself.

Thanks for the welcome guys.....I am so pissed at napa right now man!!!! I went in today and picked up front brakes (ao pads are the best), brake fluid, u-joints, rear VSS, t-stat, coolant, a/c relay. I get home, and the wife isn't home from work til around 8. I get started on the a/c and everything went well, so i start the rear diff. flush. While i am doing that i start the rear VSS and find out its the wrong sensor!!! So i am kinda upset, but mistakes happen, and move on to the brakes. I get the rotors painted and take everything apart. While i let the fluid drain (brake fluid flush) I realize that my rotors and pads are wrong!!! Once again i am kinda pissed, but move on. I start the coolant flush. Drain the coolant and flush the radiator. Take the t-stat housing apart and realize once again i have the wrong t-stat!!! By this time i am furious. I call napa and go over the part numbers, and exclaim how hard is it to just get the right damn parts!!! They appoligize yadda yadda. I just don't understand. I mean there are a million rango's/dakota's on the road, so i know they sell parts for them. Now i have to drive my buggy to work. I hate driving it on the road, because i have to swap the paddle's off. Anyway small vent lol!!
