Couple of questions if you can help me. I am going to build my truck pretty similar to yours.

1. Did you use an entire kit like psc for the full hydraulic steering, or is the factory ps pump enough for it?

2. What would you do differently suspension wise?

3. Are you using anything for sway bar control for street driving?

1. I did use the complete kit from psc, i have there high volume pump

2.I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, I would like to shorten my wheel base.

3.No sway bars, It handles ok for what it is.. I drive it on mountian rodes and feel comfortable on how it handles..

So I got started on the rear bumper.

We have that exact same creeper! What a cheep POS :funny: .

And that diff angle looks weird as hell. Is the pinion not perpendicular--some weird custom axle thing? Or am I just crazy?

I absolutely LOVE the build though. I dream of the day (read "after college" [4-5 years]) when I can do something like that.

The rear axle is custom built. The center section Is a Tera flex crd60.

no real updates just wheeling the thing.. I did put on some new tires and wheels, steped up to 40's with beadlocks.. I've had to remove some sheet metal to make them fit.. the first trip out on the new rubber will be at ejs in moab...

I'm still un-mucking a lot of it. Going to school for mechanics now so I figure as I learn I'll work on mine. it's got 320k on it so I figure it could use some freshening. Gonna beef up the axles and tranny for the tires and more power, not really brave enough to try a sas just yet, but we'll see when I get there. Wanna build a 390 stroker and gear it but it's also my daily driver so I'm considering a modest increase and gears for mpg.. still in development really just lurking and looking for ideas.

Alwaysbroken your truck looks amazing, but i was wondering on what you did for your fuel cell setup in it, what did you end up running for the fuel pump? i want to put a fuel cell into my dak eventually but im not sure on how much psi I need to run for the pump

I ran a inline pump with a regulator I think at 40 psi. But it never worked right for me it had a hard time starting but ran good. So I decided to cut a hole in the fuel cell and drop in the stock fuel pump and made a ring to clamp it in place. I'll try to take some pics of it this weekend.
