Dome lights anyone?

Oh I don't know... 212 didn't ring any bells for me and I just figured you were talking about the dome light in the back seat.

All 3 in my truck are the same bulb. Go to www.autolumination.com they are an excellent place to buy from.

What bulb did you use? There are quite a few to chose from.

I found the Putco LED universal kit (24-leds) for 22.89 on amazon. Now just to find the right bulb for the two front map lights.

Domay11-- yours should be 194 wedge bulbs up front.
CYCLONE_06-- I have a 03 QC Dak and I thought the front MAPs were 194 wedges. Only way to find out I guess is to take the covers off and pull them out.

Yes it does.

Only bad thing about it is you can see the bulb itself pretty well when it is on through the plastic. No big deal though, just don't look at the lights!

Did you buy the product that I found in the link? And can I do the front lights instead of the rears?

The front counsel lights instead of the second row lights.

Those are a totally different bulb. You're talking about the two in the overhead console that are like map lights?

Negative. The dome light is like a grid of LEDs with a plug while the map lights are much smaller with a special fitting base. Someone in here knows what number those map lights are for the 2002.

What do you suggest I use to get brighter map lights?

they should be 194/168 bulbs, which putco makes

Sylvania.com says that my map and dome lights (2002 Durango)are type 578.

the 578's are 44mm festoon base bulbs so you should be able to get any to work such as these

in the section for festoon bulbs they are model number 4410 for the led replacements just click on the pics on the right. I think its the 4th one down and then click buy and will give you all the options
