Injectors

Ok i'm having a trouble understanding the whole concept behind what injectors to use. The stock injectors on a 98' 5.2L are 19lbs @ 49 psi right? or did i miss read? I have used the search bar and have read ALOT of different topics but none have seem to clarify what i need to know.

I'm getting my 408 from JM in a few months and i was wondering what injectors i should run and at what pressure?

Thanks in advance! I've just been stuck for a few days haha.

Your stock fuel pump should be more than enough to supply the fuel pressure you'll need for the 408. As far as the injector size, I'd check with John and ask him for his recommendation on that since he's the engine builder.

How are you going to tune it? If you run SCT, it really won't matter what size injectors (as far as going too big).

I run 49's with SCT on my 2000

thanks dak and dodge, John said i wouldn't really need 32lbers but then he said 24lbs will be fine but the engine needs to be making the right amount of horsepower, So i'm a little confused.

B&G will be doing the flash, i could just run 24's and tell him not to go to rich on the fuel side due to emissions and stuff right? Any recommendations on which injectors to go with?

After you get everything up and running put in a wideband air/fuel. If its running rich, which it probably will be, have B&G reflash to put the air/ fuel ratio in a better burn ratio. Rick

Ouch....!

I had three flashes done on mine with those guys, they never did get it right.
Get a SCT from Hemifever...Let him do it.

Can a flash control the injector pulse width? I didn't think it could, hense SCT.
