Ok so I took apart my HVAC panel to replace the lights with LED's and install my blackcat HVAC face. I put it all together EXACTLY like I took it apart but now when I have my heat/A/C running its stuck on defrost. I can turn the knob to any position but it still stays on defrost...

Anybody know whats up?

Ok. I just noticed that the clear rubber piece with all the colored hoses on it that attaches to the back of the HVAC controls has no vacuum. It had vacuum when I removed it cause I remember it sucking in air when I pulled it off. So I have a vacuum problem. Its hard to see where all the little colored hoses go under the dash but I know the yellow one goes to a little ball type canister directly under the dash. Anybody have any ideas? I hope I didnt just fuck up my HVAC system over some LED's...

You removed the whole AC panel? I just unscrewed mine and pulled it out a little, then removed the face. I didn't detach anything from the back.

I was originally planning on doing some solder work to the back of the panel with the blackcat LED's but I canceled the blackcat LED's and bought some of my own that just pop in. Thats why I had to disassemble the panel.
