When I had my front Valance and roll pan painted in Colorado (off the truck of course) it only cost me $120 since he had some of my Color Code of paint left from a previous job. I had it all primered and ready to shoot when I took it in. All he had to do was chemical clean them and shoot paint.

I would say that $200 would be about right.

Anyone know if self etching will mess the paint up after Im done or what?
i wouldnt think it would actually "mess it up." but i hate prep work and i hate shopping for the right primer, im always afraid if i dont pick exactly the right stuff, it will come out like shit. id say just go buy something that says specifically for fresh, bare metal.

Damn, I already bought self etching primer, will it fuck it up if I use it?
I shouldn't have said not to use it, you would be fine. Self Etch is old tech when it comes to primers. The current trend is to use a quality epoxy primer.
The self etch was intended for metal that hasn't been sanded/prepped, it is really thin and one coat is all that is needed more wont be better. You can apply your filler or high build primers over it but it is not a final primer coat by its self. It will not protect the metal if it was to get wet before paint. What I am saying is if you use self etch, you will have to use a high build primer over it before paint.
Epoxy primer is applied over a prepped (sanded/scuffed) surface, it is non-porous, the surface will be sealed, it will be able to withstand getting wet. All body work can be done over epoxy primer.
Here is a link to a little epoxy primer info.
