are you talking about the speed limiter?
It's programmed into the PCM so you need a tuner or a flash.... your best option now is the SCT

wait.............. why are you trying to get rid of your rev/speed limiter? it must be a stock truck. other wise you would know about this. so therefore my only guess is that you are 16-18 and like to speed unnecessarily and risk your life as well as those around you

speed limiter is 115. rev limiter will kick on if dogging on it in the upper MPHs
its the rev limiter. but my question above remains unanswered

My speed limiter was 100 in my quad cab:huh:
You can do the key turn trick. turn the key in the forward position and hold it, your mph will shut down,but the rpm's will keep going.

I heard of that trick but I would never try it. btw superchips also adjust your speedo when you get a different tire size.

i tend to doubt Noobs............ judging from his other post he has a 4.7 though.... so it would have had to have been on a 1.5 mile track to reach those speeds

it does work. DJwolf used to do it all the time. His spedo was so out of wack because of his 15" tires that when it said 100 he was only doing 80.

you have a rev limiter and a speed limiter. speed is 115. rev is 5200 IIRC (mine is set at 6k right now)
but i still want to know what he needs it removed for

I dont have a nothing limiter...and I didnt need to purchase "tunes"
