Impressed and yet saddened. My mostly stock (CAI ported TB and exhaust) 4.7 5spd pulled him by 1/4 a car through 2nd gear then he walked me like a dog. that damn SI is wicked quick. I know hes a member on here and just rags the racers but for those who dont know his car he has a 2008 civic si w/ CAI header full skunk 2 exhaust ported TB and an access port tuner. The tuner is estimating the car at 246 HP 184 ft/lbs of torque. it was 24* outside and we had a DA of -2400 ft lol. first race launched from 1900 and it felt like i was on ice no traction at all (Tires are 275/50/r15 cooper cobra radials not the best but not bad) 2nd (best run) launched from 1400 feathered first to keep traction but still spun a good bit. we both had a passenger. I think he would be in trouble if i had anything done to the truck.
On a side not i Pulled a Scion TC with exhaust by 2 cars a few days before. he pulled up next to me and reved light turned green i rolled into first and heard his pissed off bumble bee muffller start buzzing by the time i shifted into 2nd gear (not long in these trucks) he was at my back bumper by 3rd i backed out and he 2 cars behind
