little confused. put the trans and transfer case in.

no overdrive, sometimes wont start in park. do we need to adjust linkages? im confusedddddd

Put it in park, then disconnect the rod and see if it is fully .seated in park. Will it start in neutral?

typically, all linkages should be adjusted with the trans in neutral, not park

Sounds more like a loose connector or one you missed entirely.

There isn't a way to physically select 3rd and not 4th because it is electronic.

goes into 3rd....just not od.

and yes starts in neutral.

ok so i decided to try my old pcm (5.2) on the truck (5.9) after a suggestion from a friend and i had OD but it said no bus. still ran and drove fine. then CEL came on, no code. then i got an exhaust leak by the header...i swapped pcm back and checked for codes altho no CEL and i got p0351- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction


what da fack.
