The driver side of my bed has a few dents in it and some are imo beyond repair without using alot of filler. Can I just replace the entire driver side of the bed? How is it attached/is this somewhat easy to do? Lastly, where would I buy a piece like this because all the salvage yards I visit only sell the bed as a whole...?

If you were closer, I'd hook you up with a driver's side of a bed cheap. I have a bed here with damage on the passenger side but the driver's side is near perfect. Shipping would be a bitch though I'd imagine.

How many dents do you have? And where? Do you know anyone that does bodywork? My body man does it for 35/hour. Any local vo-techs?
Not taking it to vo-tec I know those dudes and no way they are not touching my truck lol I will take it to a good body shop and see what they say about it but I dont want filler caked on there to cover the damage, I hate filler.

another option by a exp/good shop is cuttin out the dent and fill weld back in, no bondo/filler it would still be solid metal

u will still have some filler.... just not as much...

I would keep looking for a used bed in better condition. As mentioned there are dozens of spot welds that would have to be drilled out. Each of those are a potential new rust area.
Replacing the sides can be done, but if you have to pay someone, it will be $$$
