Hmm, i have a few, mostly minors. 2 seat belt tickets at $110 each, 1 failing to stop, and i almost got a careless driving charge but the cop knocked it down to a disobeying road sign and i just got a letter the other day stating it wasn't in the system, so i'm gonna get some money back!

69 in 55 went to driving school i was 17 at the time. Jan of 06 i got a reckless driving from a stop I spun the tires enough to barely hear a squeel. That was about 500$ worth.

Other than that lots of close calls and one or 2 evading

I chirp mine at the bottom of the hill by my house maybe 2-3 times a week going to work.Just the combo of the turn and letting the clutch out at the same time. Can't really help it.

ticket

450$ empty construction zone .12 noon on a tues in southern il. cop told me that the township needed the money and they pulled over at least150 people a month in that spot.p.s i was going 10mph under the 65 mph limit. sucks doesn't it.

i got a long list........

14 tickets, lost my license, as of 12 pm(1 hour and 35 minutes ago), 3 times.

this time is 20 days so i get it back the 19th.

1st time supposed to be 3 month, lowered to 1 month.
2nd time supposed to be 6 month lowered to 45 days
this time supposed to be 3 month lowered to 20 days.

3 speeding
2 improper lighting
1 tint
1 obstruction of view
1 failure to stop
3 careless
2 failure to provide papers

maybe i only have 13?

careless- one was cuz i spun out on ice and he claimed i did a burnout.

another cuz he said i was speeding, tailgating, drove over yellow line, had an obstruction of view, and cuz it took like 5 minutes to find my license. none of which was true. and im not even lieing.

the 3rd was same time i got failure to stop...rolled thru stop sign.

speeding were all 20 over.

in fines i prolly got atleast $10,000 from the shitty state of nj.
How the fuck do you get insurance?

No kidding, and the thread just asked for your worst ticket, but I am guilty too. I think he is just bragging.

illegal squeeling of tires, over acceleration and was gonna be fleeing.....only because after i did it all, i didnt see the cop behind me through all of the tire smoke.....ended up talkin him outta that one, all in all cost me about 350...he even told me my exhaust sounded good :D

oh damn almost forgot, about 3 months ago i got a loud exhaust ticket....from when the Y pipe flange on my durango rotted out and fell off right as i was coming onto the interstate......was friggen loud!

No tickets for me...just a warning..."disregarding an automated signal"... cop claimed I went thru a red arrow (which was still yellow FWIW) at a higher than normal rate of speed...he did pay me a nice compliment on my drifting ability though.... I took that corner at 40 in the rain....I had my truck almost straight sideways as I look over at the cop sitting at the light....rode out the drift and drove like a grampa....I thought I was goin to jail...turns out the cop drove a tuner (not ricer) honda when he wasn't on the beat....said it took him a year and a half to figure out how to drift like I did.....LOL

Red light camera

100-some dollars in DE for a red light camera violation. I was following some people who knew where we were going better than I did. Tried to slide through the light behind them to keep up, completely missing the big sign right there that said red light camera. Pretty dumb in retrospect considering I had my garmin in the truck. In case you want to try to BS your way out of it and make an excuse about whether it was really yellow or something else happened they put the video on the net so you can access it by citation number and see the vid. The only option they really give to fight it is to claim someone else was driving and provide that person's name and address. Looked like video of a bank robbery getaway, my huge black truck flying through the intersection and leaning through the curve with a little tire squeal. The two people I was following slid through, I missed it by a split second. Prior to that, about 10 years since I've gotten a speeding ticket though Ive lucked out getting stopped by cool cops since then and been able to talk my way out of quite a few more of them.

The cameras are like alot of things. They started out as a valid concept. Then things like quotas and commissions to the contractor per ticket issued get into the mix and it becomes more about revenue than accident prevention. Now that they're there and the contracts are signed their existence has to be justified with citations mailed and revenue. There are usually tons of interesting little details about those contracts that the states and localities never want to tell the public.

No speed cameras around the Philly/Delco area yet. The locals who still sit on the local expressways aren't interested in issuing tickets. They'll sit out in plain view where you can always see them a mile away as if to say "Don't be an asshole and do 90 right past me, cause I don't feel like pulling out and chasing anybody." Some of them even keep their strobes running the whole time. The staties are the ones who got a bit fired up about pulling out after people since it's their main thing. One even pulled out after me as I drove by on the highway doin like 5 over and told me he came after me for tint.

Construction zones are bullshit, sometimes I think they are set up strictly so more expensive tickets can be issued. Tons around here that Ive driven though countless times and NEVER seen any work being done at any time. Why not wait to make it a construction zone until construction is actually being done.

worst ticket was a $113 noise violation.

only other ticket was an $89 speeding ticket. 64 in a 45. one more mile over and they supposedly could have taken my license. (i was 17 at the time)

been pulled over too many times. and some lady down the road called the cops on me when i slid around the corner onto my road. and i had the po-po knockin on the front door.

oh you live in PA too...i've gone through the same section of 81 coming home from my GF's in scranton...ALWAYS always construction, backed up for 8-10 miles and i've never seen anyone working...just cones and pylons for miles.

Hmm... I got a couple of fun ones. 87 in a 35 through a school zone.... they frown on that one. And 93 in a 45 (at 3 AM on a deserted road). Got pulled over once for 100 in a 65 but the cop dropped it to 81 so he wouldn't have to arrest me as he was getting ready to be off for the night.

worst I've got is a 2 hundred and some speeding ticket from a bullshit speed trap. It is a car on the side of the road with cameras just before a construction area. Everyone here is fighting to have a whole pile of tickets thrown out because of the "50 when passing workers" sign. When there are no workers, what is the speed limit?

Anyways, ive been pulled over twice. First time I got a warning for speeding, and that my 'speedo was out'... Second time the officer thought I was drunk, driving our grain truck :jester:
