Ok, I am trying to find this in the FSM but don't know my way around it too well and figured I may get a quick answer here...

What is the voltage at the TPS when the throttle is 100% open and when it is idling? I am going to *assume* it's 5v when at 100% but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

the so called "ideal" voltage is .76 with the key on engine off....

as for WOT....it will be less than 5 volts as 5v is suppose to be the max for the sensor and the engine will only run at 80% of it max potential......its a "safety" feature form the factory and so called "safe" zone for all engines

WOT I get 3.9-4v with the engine off.

Closed, I'm running .68. Again, engine off.

If I go any higher than that, it's real touchy and sometimes the PCM throws a code for TPS voltage too high at idle. P0123

Interesting, never heard of that. I need it to run at 100% :nana:

I actually need a way of telling when the truck is at WOT or close to it.. Does the 4.7 has some type of WOT switch?

with 100% the reliability will be down a bit. but would we all.

as for a WOT switch...no thats what the tps is for, it tells the computer......but what are you needing one for? there are some that are for N2O kits that you could possibly use for something else.
