they were doing medelys back in 94. Gateful Dead never did it. They have a much larger catalog than metalica. It is just lame assed metalica ego shit. Justice tour was all Cliff. I know he died in 87 or so but all the songs about on JUstice were written with Cliff.

Kittie is a kick ass band. All girls too.
They do kick ass. I'm somewhat disappointed that their new In The Black album returned to the scream/sing mix that was present on Spit. I liked Spit, but I had hoped they would have stuck with the formula that produced Funeral for Yesterday.

Unfortunately Kittie skipped over Las Vegas during their current tour, otherwise I'd be happy to go see them again.

he also taught Alex skolnik. I only had Blue dreams. Is that what it is called? That was after surfing.

I despise Five Finger Death Punch.....idk i just cant tolerate the music

top 5:
Trivium (f**king amazing, new cd is kick ass)
All That Remains
Unearth
OLD Atreyu
OLD A7X- I agree with the guy above me, new A7X makes me sick. Waking the Fall will always be their best album

And how come I havnt seen 36 Crazyfists anywhere up there? And some good Bullet for my Valentine is always a plus...

Five Finger Death Punch is actually pretty decent. I'm sure the real etalheads absolutley despise it, and their new cd is a little softer, but they can definatly rock out

You guys gotta check out a band called Burning the day, they're still a small time band out of t.o. but damn they're good. Check out the songs 1601, and golgotha. I bet you wont be disappointed.

id have to say my top five would be

Arch Enemy
The Black Dahlia Murder
Asmegin
Behemoth
Amon Amarth

Avenged sevenfold makes me sick to my stomach, and so does five finger death punch....sorry had to say it. different music tastes for each person, in my opinion neither are metal, or anygood for that matter

some members of

came up with this band..

I like pushing them cuz they are from cleeeeeveland..and the guitar player in both bands is a pretty decent guy.

if you listen to their old stuff its pretty much techno-metal.. then they throw some rap in.. \
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiPSJv1GPyA&feature=related

now its pretty metal-ish.

and if you never been to a mushroomhead show.... go.. its pure entertainment.

As I Lay Dying
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Queensrych
Chimiara
Diecast
Fear Factory
In Flames

I like anything with heavy riffs and good vocals, shit that gets your blood pumping

"I like metal because it shows my anger and my depression at the same time." :jester:

I don't know why but this is the first thing I think when I think Metal.
ThenI think about all the bullshit arguments about who is metal and who isn't. :blahblah:

Anyway here is my list off the top of my head:
Dillinger Escape Plan
Slipknot
Hatebreed
American Head Charge
The Berzerker
Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly, Seplatura
Mastodon
Mudvayne
Mushroomhead, (216)
Otep
Papa Roach
White Zombie
System of a Down
Trivium
Slayer
Static-X
Satyricon

Otep
King Diamond/ Merciful Fate
Coven
Slayer
Accept
Korn
Death Angel
Venom
And The List Goes On But First And Foremost Black Sabbath The Start Of My Metal Life Back In The 70s When I Was A Weee Lad!

theres a lot of good bands listed and some not so good one's.
1. american head charge-pretty heavy and i dont think they're around anymore
2. the moxy- heard a song from them on a bam margera xmas special and some of their stuff is pretty good. if your looking for new metal and hard rock watch anything bam margera produces he showcases a lot of decent bands.
3. pantera and black sabbath-obvious reasons and nobody gets people going like they do.
4. marilyn manson- his live shows are amazing
