2002 Dodge Durango SLT: Check Gauges Light On After Alternator & Battery Replacement

2002 4.7 durango slt. Replaced alternator and battery truck starts and runs then after about 10 min. the check gauges light comes on and the voltage gauge drops to zero... WTF any clues

either you messed up the connections, popped a fuse, or got a junk reman.

used a voltmeter got 12.5 on battery. Got 12.5 from alt to neg on bat. no trouble with lights, A/C, radio or heater. Shows code p1682 which is a low voltage code

ummmmm duh! should be high 14s when running, 12.6 when off
