havent been on here in quite awhile. just recently got back on and i keep hearing about seafoam engine cleaner and i wanted some opinions on it. is it good how do you use it. im a mechanic and i do fuel system cleanings at work but we have a 3 step process and we run chemicals in the fuel oil and we have a drip bottle we let a chemical slowly drip into the intake. just wondering if sea foam is about the same and does it do a good job?

Seafoam is good stuff.... much simpler than the 3 step. Slowly pour 1/3 of the can down the TB or into a vacuum line than feeds the intake with the engine running, when your done pouring shut of the engine and wait 5-10 mins, then restart.

It can also be used in the oil and in the gas..... I usually do 1/3 down the TB and the rest in the gas

or you can go get you some naptha at $18/gal... its the same sheet.

Seafoam used to be a bargain at $36/gallon. Then the stores got hip and raised the price to $79/gallon! Bastids!
