Started tearing it apart a little early so I can take my time and clean it up a little. We made a tent to do the swap in with light and a propane heater...

you sounded pretty concerned about the weight of those CAs. you could prolly shave some off and still keep the strength. i mean look at the coil bucket, its realyl deep. you dont need all that. you could atleast get them to weigh as much as the stock arms dont you think? your going to paint them anyway right? you should, so they match everything.western chassis
He doesn't have a dyno, he is a field tuner, his tuning is done via e-mail, unless you arrange dyno time from an outside source, and arrange for sean to come in and do the tuning and take care of his fee's expenses. :wave:hey he dosnt have a dyno i dont think
picked the truck up today. Drove it for the first time and it likes to pop out of gear so I need to do some work to it. Hemifever may send me a few email tunes so I can drive it around to work on the gear issue. But other than that its going back to PIE when dannys is done.He doesn't have a dyno, he is a field tuner, his tuning is done via e-mail, unless you arrange dyno time from an outside source, and arrange for sean to come in and do the tuning and take care of his fee's expenses.
Im not going to chop up the control arms because I dont plan on having them for too long. I already have all the parts for the brake kit and they just use a modified stock spindle.you sounded pretty concerned about the weight of those CAs. you could prolly shave some off and still keep the strength. i mean look at the coil bucket, its realyl deep. you dont need all that. you could atleast get them to weigh as much as the stock arms dont you think? your going to paint them anyway right? you should, so they match everything.
also, dont you want to get viper brakes? dont you have to get different spindles for that? dont they have lowering spindles that adapt for the brakes? doesnt that mean you could save like 300 bucks by not buying control arms and achieving the same height via the spindles? you get what im sayin?
what do you plan on doing that you wont need the control arms? i may buy them...Im not going to chop up the control arms because I dont plan on having them for too long. I already have all the parts for the brake kit and they just use a modified stock spindle.
You can do anything with a grinder and a piece of metal :stirthepowhat do you plan on doing that you wont need the control arms? i may buy them...
i didnt know you could modify the spindle
What... did you really expect traction with that set up? :jester:second tune a/f is around 12.2 and it blew the tires off in second and started to in 3 but I let off. I need to get rid of these 4.56's
