truck has not been touched. Im picking it up this weekend and I told him to call me when he can actually work on it. What is needed to have hemifever tune something?

log map voltage, tps, rpm and a/f. Log it for about 30 seconds at idle, export the chart, and he will send a tune. once the idle is done then do some part throttle blips and hold the throttle down to about 3k and data logg, export the log and get a new tune
then drive it, and log for 30 seconds, export the log, get a new tune.

do you know what he charges for this and are his tunes locked?

his tunes are locked, as he will re-write you another one. It might be possible to purchase an "un-locked" tune if you have the prp already. Price depends if you bought the tuner from him, with the prices he has been offering, it would be like another $100 to get unlimited tuning, if you didnt buy the tuner from him, that's a different story.

I bought the prp from him with a tune. Im not going to give him money to tune my truck if I cant modify my own tune that I paid for.
