Hey everyone... I have an 01 QC 2WD 4.7 that I am *considering* doing the torque management mod... I do have a few concerns though....
I found the yellow wire w/ green tracer but I didn't find it on the passenger side but I found it going into the distribution box on the driver side... Can I still just snip it there? I didn't want to tear the wire looms apart on the driver-side either.
Also, what exact wire am I cutting? Like, what's it purpose and function? I want to know if I'd be losing any other functions or something? I'm sure Dodge didn't intend on having the wire cut so I'm just worried about what could happen if I do. I know the Torque Management just retards timing at WOT to prolong transmission life so is this the wire telling the PCM that it's at WOT or the wire telling the PCM to retard timing or what? Sorry, I just want a little more info on it before I go and do it... Will it throw any codes also?
