Im getting away without using a cage... I guess tracks up north are more strict..
You can do it down here also during test and tunes, which wont offer you a time slip, but other than that, they will kick you out.
I wont be getting one any time soon. Im sure I could get away with it here but its nice to know you have a little protection.

I went to test and tune tonight, ran my truck 10.991, got a time slip and all they told me is thats a damn fast truck... And where i went was a NHRA authorized track.. so idk maybe you right but seems like i can get away with it :)

I think I figured out how im going to do the fuel system. I will have all the lines come up the passenger side frame rail and up through the fender feeding both rails from the back with 90 degree fitting. The returns will go under the m1 to the regulator on the left/center of the block. The return line will go right beside the two feeds. I will cut a hole in the fender and line it with rubber.
That's where I had the lines for my intercooler on my old setup, so I used the same spot for my nitrous fuel line, nitrous line and fuel return line, works nicely. :eek:nethumb:

Crazy how a nice sized engine bay can run outta room once you all go crazy! :jester: Lookin' good guys.

Absolutely. $900 is cheap insurance. Even for a 12 second vehicle. What if the faster car snaps an axle and T-bones you as he's coming past. All of a sudden your not so fast vehicle is sandwiched between a missle and an immoveable object. Also its amazing how much stiffer a chassis becomes with a cage. Progress is looking good, keep it up!:clap2:

Nice ET, what was the mph? Was that on the bottle? My local 1/8th mile doesn't tech street cars, so I'll be good to T&T there, but eventually I'm going to need to put in a bar.

You're right, the hose goes through, the hose with a fitting doesn't. At least not with what I was using.
This y block and the fittings fit just fine under mine

Its actually a 8 point not a 6 point and the entire cage would be in the cab.

wires turned out nice but they were a PITA. Now I need to find a place to mount the coil. Is it ok to put the coil on the firewall?
