To all Chrysler debt holders, Chrysler, Fiat, and US Gov. officials involved. I just want to let it be known that this US citizen is boycotting all products manufactured by Chrysler or Fiat. I promise to continue to boycott until Chrysler is no longer merged with Fiat or under US Gov. control.

its great to think that e-mails and boycotting will do anything... unfortunately it wont, just like the "dont buy gas" crap that people try... um your going to need gas sooner or later so if you boycott it for a day they will just get ya the next day lol. Again I would love to say that it works... there is just no way it will, so sorry.

Until the government raises the price of gas so high that people are forced to buy the little environmental moped-motored cars that they like to push down our throats..Hmm; kinda like what is happening now!

This is my small part.
You are probably right because most people are sheep.

But...What I do know is that true Mopar fans are not the same as most other car manufactures fans we are the most loyal fans. That's what has pulled them this far. Chrysler has always promoted this. There are a lot of Chrysler employees and share holders that are on the same Mopar related forums and attend the same Mopar events as the fans! I know I have talked to some of them.

AND... I personally can hold out on buying a new vehicle for more than a few days if needed. :D

This is my "Tough Love" Chrysler!

If its an actual truck than I wouldnt mind it. If its anything like the Subaru Baja...HELL NO!

Just add....It is like the Subaru Baja, so thats a definate HELL NO!!!
But I love subaru bajas.

And what's wrong with Chrysler being merged with Fiat? Are you that much of a fucking purist that when you saw that Fiat has part ownership of them that you couldn't stand their products anymore?

Yep...that's right, don't buy any Chrysler products. Now go and buy a Honda or a Toyota. You're doing your part all right!

:stupid:

If they made the Strada bigger and put in a V-8 option than yes, but now that its part government owned....that isn't going to happen.

I mean I don't mind that this merger went through, but the thing that bothers me is the government and the uaw as 2/3 owners. Anything with a big motor (V8 or bigger) that uses PETROLIUM will no longer be made; except for industrial use.

I dont think Fiat is the problem. Fiat could bring a lot of needed technology for Chryslers smaller cars and meeting the new 35mpg CAFE standards. Right now Chrysler is bearly beating the 25mpg requirement. Replace the caliber and the avenger/sebring with something that gets 30-35mpg NOT 29-30mpg and add in a little ecobox that get 40-45 and chrysler becomes competative and viable. What will hurt will be the changes to light trucks. I think making the dakota, durango and ram smaller with taller geared transmissions and rear ends is going to be the first solution to bring up the gas guzzling lower end of the line up.

But thats just the opinion of a mexican who bearly graduated high school.
