Too bad that system is more for looks than anything. I'm sure they're all sharing the same chamber, and not nearly enough airspace. Would be better off with 2-4 in that same box.

But it does look pretty cool I guess.

Truck looks great, subs look stupid.

They spent all the effort on the rear area, but nothing on the details. I've seen many vehicles like this at shows. The kids love 'em.

Eh, it has to be close, he is only running W-0s, cuft airspace is not all that much. Not to mention the power he is pulling/pushing is not all that impressive to actually make those subs perform at max potential. He needs a ohio generator or two for 5k+ watts to pull properly. Madd props on the setup and customization. I love those door panels!! Props on the body lit too!! I plan on doing the same with my durango. Sick post btw. Boomin--+5 for the knowledge and eye to detail, you compete?

P.S.

Here is our last dB number on 10 12" subs on a bit more power.

And the same on twice that power

Maybe you can help me in my car audio quest I've been on for years. I have gone to all the local stereo shops in my area and no one can help me, despite the fact that I have a very clear cut goal. I have exhausted all available resources to me. The only parameters are that I want to be able to generate this my sound system goal level of acoustic energy while listening to my favorite metal cd in my club cab Dakota. Thank you.

To be clear, your goal is to generate over 200+ decibels playing music. Did the shops in your area describe why this is never going to happen?

I guess my attempt at humor failed. I was just trying to be funny. :funny: I have not gone to any car audio shops with this impossible request nor is this my car audio goal. I value my hearing and to be honest Termlab numbers don't really interest me that much.

I totally missed the humor! I'm usually a bit sharper than that...

The Termlab numbers don't impress me either. I'm not sure how they can really call that a "sound" competition. It's more of a "physics" competition than a "sound" competition at that point.... Physics doesn't really thrill the crowd.
