Got my kenne bell on with 42lbs injectors and a msd 2 bar map, got the truck running but it stumbles and falls on my its face. I have to 2 foot it to get it going, am I running to rich and should I plug my 1 bar back in until i get it tuned?
I know, I was talking about the computer tuning, my bad.A blower is fine on a stock shortblock, so long as you have a good tune and don't get greedy.
I did with the old 2 bar, didnt make a difference so now im waiting for the new map sensor to come in to test that outreset the engine code, and give it another try.
Thats good to hear, you are almost set. Before you know it:drive:I did with the old 2 bar, didnt make a difference so now im waiting for the new map sensor to come in to test that out
I cant wait!!!Thats good to hear, you are almost set. Before you know it:drive:
yeah. I cant wait to start messing around with it!! but first I need to get it running!! lolNot sure about the Lm2, but my dynojet can export the log info to a text document or to excel as a spreadsheet. I'm sure you'rs has something similar.
how did you get rid of the cel?I know mine with a 2-bar MAP and stock PCM ran perfectly fine. So something must be up. Oh and ignore the CEL about the MAP sensor 5V, it's a common code with the 2-bar and with SCT you "should" be able to get rid of it. I know mine was easily fixed, but some people had problems getting it to go away.
the reason why I think it smoked it because originally I had the 2 bar hooked up directly got 2.22 volts. Then when I tried running it, it ran crappy so I thought it was the map sensor and wired it in with the stock 1 bar, this is the only thing that I think could of smoked itI was using the dynojet, and yes, you can export the log into a text file, and send it off. Logging the tps, voltage, a/f and rpm, will really allow for a more detailed tune. There has to be a reason why the map sensor was working fine @ one point, and then it went to crap. From what I gathered, they are very sensitive.
