I've been searching in vain here on Dakota-Durango and Googling with no results for long travel Durango suspension. I'm looking at my options for building up my Rango and I'd like to see what a long travel IFS w/ 4-link rear setup would cost and how It would deal with the kind of 'wheeling I do, but it seems like nobody has any info on it. Does anyone here run long travel or know of a company that makes components that I can mix/match to make a long travel setup? The rear 4 link is the easy part, as that's just a matter of fabricated brackets and links, but the front is the part I'm having trouble with.

Know of a long travel? Shit the only lift you have options to is a 3 and 5.5" lift and a 3" BL...Not to mention blocks and a TB crank..

I've seen that long travel Durango come up a couple times in my searches on dodgetalk and it's kind of been my motivation for looking into long travel. I'm going to drop an e-mail on The Pirate Lab (the ones that built up the parts for the aforementioned long travel Rango) and see what some of the specific pricing would be to get some long travel under the Rango. The biggest thing that I'd like to be able to find for my truck are a-arms. I feel that I can build/fabricate/machine all the other parts to work, but I don't want to deal with a-arms. Anyone know of where I could get a-arms that aren't custom fabbed? Custom fabbed is pricey!

He just posted the price on dodgetalk.

Okay, so I talked to someone from Pirate Lab. $2000 for arms and spindles. That's not too bad, but I think it's a 2WD system and I did tell them that I wanted to retain 4WD. I asked about 4WD but haven't had a reply yet. It looks like coilovers take up the room meant for CV axles and the spindles are probably heavy duty 2WD models, but I'll have to see. $2k really isn't that bad since I can fab up my own shock hoops and engine cage.

You might try McNeils for a setup from them, as far as i know they dont deal much with dodge stuff but they work wonders with everything else and usualy have a good price.

Also if you want to stay 4x4 wouldnt it be cheeper in the long run to go to a twin I-beam setup? Its a little more complicated but from what i have seen and heard it is quite a bit stronger.
