Hammer always works, but I just used a big ass screw driver to hold the pulley in place then wrenched a few good hard times with a pipe wrench. Stick the screwdriver into the pulley and wedge it good, then wrench the fucker.

Used an open end wrench from sears and a oil filter strap wrench for the pulley. Came right off no problems.

Air hammer is all you need!
I am quoting this for truth.

I spent a lot of time trying to get mine off. I tried every trick in the book and I got nothing out of it.

I finally got fed up and figured I could chisel the dam thing off. I decided when I got under the hood to just hit it a few times with the chisel on one of the flat parts to get it to loosen up and it came right off in about 5 seconds.

I kept the fan in my back yard just to remind me to work smarter, not harder now and every so often go pee on it just because it makes me feel a little better:funny:
