No No.....you want them to flow pretty damn well. What you wont really need is velocity, because the air is being forced in.

Gains in VE will be compounded by boost. That means you stand to gain more performance from anything else done than an NA motor of similar displacement.

heads + cam swap at 10psi on your truck could easily be worth 100+ hp.

So the iron rams are with the smaller valves and the monster mags are with the 2.02 valves? Not alot of info at all on that site.

I really laughed out loud after i read that!


but yeah when i looked at the listing, i thought for a second it was for a set not just one and i was about to nut myself on how cheap they where..

these are defiantly on my next to get list, along with a cam... yummy cant wait to put these babys on.

So with my newly found cracked heads, looks like I'll be picking a set of these up. They said they don't do porting themselves, and I really don't have the money to send em away. Is there anything I can do myself, or should I just be happy with them as-is.

I have posted info from the nat'l sales manager for EQ on here several times; Mark Moore is his name; had an ad on Ebay, $229/ea (bare)+$20/ea to ship; Iron Rams are EQ's reboxed. Nice heads. I have them on my LA 318 (carb'd) nice improvement. PM me for contact info; E mail phone number etc; I'd post it again but probably (again) to deaf ears.

Got my EQ heads with 2.02 valves on Ebay from Clearwater for $375 each fully assembled! Good Deal! Should be here Friday! :banana2:

that IS a good deal; back in Feb they (CCH) wanted $350/head (bare) for EQ heads, that were set up for stock valves. I got mine elsewhere for $245/head and had plenty of "hardware" left over from all the cracked POS' that I have here taking up space (only 5 of them!) They'd have been $229 ea but I wanted the ones set up for an LA intake instead of a Magnum intake, since I RUN A CARB!
