Well I was thinking I'll remove my ugly seafoam green decals. I just need a suggestion on the best way to do it without harming the paint underneath. Also These decals have been on the truck for 8 years. Am I gonna find that I'll continue to have dodge and dodge sport written on my truck because of any type of color differrence?

Heat them up or let them sit in the sun and pull them off. Also then use a spray of whatever type of adhesive remover you want to get the residue off. Once you're done, give the truck a nice wax job and pay special attention to the areas where the decals were. The more the truck sits in the sun without them, the quicker they fade away.

Thanks man, always a great assistance. I'm thinking heat em' up with a hair dryer, hit them with a plastic scraper and then clean it all up with 3M adhesive remover and give it a good waxing.

You got it. Use a hair dryer on the sticker for about 30sec-1min. Remove the sticker easily, I used a razor CAREFULLY, to raise a corner, and peel it off. Used GooGone to get rid or the adhesive. Lastly i washed, used heavy compound, and then waxed the truck. no ghost images.

Don't use a razor.....that could end badly, even if your really careful.....you can just pick a corner up with your finger nail. I wouldn't use a scraper either, even if it's plastic it can still scratch your paint pretty bad. And don't scrub too hard when you remove the excess adhesive, cause even paper towel can damage your paint.

Rubbin Alcohol Works Pretty Good Too, I Didnt Think That Googone Was Worth A Damn, I Used It To Replace My Vent Visors
