I have the same set of headers. Any tip for installing them? I still need to send mine out to jet Hot before I can install them.

pass side
1:engine hoist because you have to take the motor up probably 6 inches
2:take off your oil filter
3:it is easier with 2 people
driver side (you will need a 02 harness extender)
1:take off your starter
2:lift up your motor untill the motor mounts are out of the frame
3:take off the motor mount
4:its easier to take off the power stearing pump off
then all should drop in neadless to say it is a pain in the ass lol but there in :woot:
as for installing them if you have access to a lift get it up there my install was done on the ground due to not having tags or anything so i didnt feel like trailering it up to my shop but you need a

Along with what dakotapimpc said, you might run into clearances with the passenger side so a grinder will be your friend. Also you may want to wrap some of your plug wires, shifter cable, and move your fuel lines out of the way.

yeah did you get yours on yet blaindsmith?? wat did you do with the shifter cable??? is it under the header or overtop?

They are in, just need to get heat shield wrap and throw that on some of the plug wires and shifter cable. The cable is going over the top of the header.
That's my project on Saturday since I live in an apartment and my truck is at my parents for storage.

Yup, it is already off waiting for that wrap. I think it is too short to go under it. Going over it though it is resting right on the divers side collector.

what are you wraping the bottom of the header in header wrap or are you just wraping the cable???

I have a lift at work. I might has some of that reflective foil insulated stuff at work from old power steering lines. I'll have to look in the dumpster, the warrenty room just got cleaned out today! PM me if you need some.
