nice truck but just kinda boring

5.5" lift with a 5" turbo back exhaust. i drove it with just a down pipe on it LOL it was loud and badass. we had to put the cat on "lame owner" but it still sounded alot better. the lift was a 5.5" fagtech with full leafs up front and blocks THAT YOU STACKED ON TOP OF THE FACTORY BLOCKS. stupidest setup ever but he, it aint my truck.

37x14.5x20 nitto mud grapplers. sounds like an airplane is under the truck at about 35 mph LOL BADASS

Looks good. I think I would have gone with a more tire and less wheel. I just don't like big wheels with technically "low pros" on a lifted truck. I'd still drive it.

naw he goes to mexico every summer and does some wheelin in the desert and he wants to make sure its not ganna break and want it to handle the abuse. he was askin today about a dual shock setup for front and rear. we quoted him 1500 bucks installed out the door for it. were only makin like 300 or somthing so were giving him a decent deal.

i think it needs a chip and intake and a sweet navi system. he was askin about subs and such also. we'll see him again. he has friends that work on cars and was talkin crap about the mexican shop down the street that does care audio so i think he knows us white guys are better for somethings.

i agree and 37s with 20s looks good. when its on an old school truck you cant pull it off but on the newer nice looking rigs thats the way to go. i wouldnt go much smaller than 20s on any newer truck, it just doesnt look right.

the wheel and tire combo weighed atleast 120lbs. and they have a little pattern on one side "like a snake" and i put 3 with the smooth side and one with the pattern and didnt even notice. today i had to flip the 3. talk about a bitch. some of the hardest tires ive dont and i had to them twice LOL

where do you work at clint282cc? i work at a similar place except here in Memphis, most people are AZZ backwards. over here, they lift cars instead of trucks/suvs. and they, the AZZ'S, are putting ridiculously big ass rims on their cars with no profile tires. :censored:

and 35's on 20's also look good. ask me how i know.:mullet: and i also agree, less chrome would be good.

Looks ok for a powerchoke.

i work at automotive solutions. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/ind...ace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=24104195&albumId=1744490 thats my myspace page of all the cool stuff we have done lately.

we get "those special types" in all the time wanting us to lift their caprices and crown vics but we turn them down. well put 22s on anything it will fit and 24 on anything eles but we dont get that crazy into the GHETTO scene luckly. we do about 300 remote starts a winter season and about 50 western snow plows. thats what we mostly do at our shop. we also get about 4-5 lift kits a year and prolly 5-6 awsome audio systems.

Yeah, the cheap-o lift kit for my Ram wanted to stack blocks on top of the factory blocks, HELL NO. I paid the extra coin and got lift springs in the back and done away w/ the block all together. My dad kept tellin' me that it would be fine that they used to do it all the time "back in the day".

Sorry dad, but I'm gonna have to disagree w/ ya on this one.

If you didnt tow with it then it would be fine, but i prefer spring lifts over blocks also.

on my jeep i had 2" blocks with 2" AAL. after awhile AAl wear out and sag some. well the extra leverage from the blocks were too much for the springs to handle. i got so much axle wrap i would break yokes. i went through about 3 untill i made some custom trac bars. thats why i threw those things out and bought some 4.5" springs.

first time i saw stacked blocks i almost puked. its just idiotic but hey man it aint my truck. only time i would use blocks is if it was under 2.5" and with new springs.

Yeah, that's why I went w/ rough country. They were the only one that had the option of removing the factory block and going w/ all new springs in the back.

Superlift and other companies either wanted to stack blocks, add a leafs w/ the factory leaf & block, or new springs on-top of a block (4" lift btw).
