Hey guys, I sold my '00 Durango 5.9 back in august and have regretted it ever since. :huh:
I sold it for 4500 bucks, and bought an '03 Acura CL 6 speed for 10 grand. The CL is quick, but I can't stand not being big and loud anymore. I think the ONLY upside of it is i get 17/28 mpg. My Durango got 9/12 at best. I've got drums and guitar equipment, and I'm tired of borrowing my friends trucks.
I HATE HATE HATE front wheel drive, HATE. It's fast, but off the line i get 0 traction.
I'm thinking about getting an 01-04 Dakota with the 4.7L in it, Probably around 60-80k miles. I'd love to get an RT but that 5.9 scares me for gas. lol
What sort of price can I expect to pick up a dak. What kind of gas mileage can I expect out of the 4.7? If I can sell my CL for 9~ and buy a Dak for 4500-5000, I'd be pocketing 4-4.5k.
