replaced it with a competition stage two clutch and a light weight flywheel. Stock he went a 15.3 and after the clutch, dumped exhaust, and a cold air intake he went a 14.9. He is now on his 4th clutch and just lost 3rd 4th, and reverse and hes at 20k miles.

"granny shiftin not double clutchin" What a great movie that was!

Must be fun!

I have 22k miles on my clutch and i just did a fucking burnout today and clutch feel and friction grab are fine...

I'm only upgrading to a stage 2 competition clutch because i want an 8.4lb flywheel.

losing 3rd 4th and reverse is a TELLTALE sign of a stretched shift cable or a broken cable guide on top of the transmission.

Did he get solid cable bushings and change them himself? Most people break the cable guide or stress it to breaking later.

But either way, if that's how his clutches look... I can see why he lost 3rd 4th and reverse...

3rd gear is crap in the 06 and 07's

they fixed the issue in 08 and 09's

there's a tech service bulletin to replace 3rd gear components in the transmission and if they do 3rd gear they will do any other parts messed up as well.

Might wanna look into that.
