Anyone here have a wife that drives you mad? I mean really fucking bunkers? I was just watching Pineapple Express down stairs. I have a surround sound setup that is nice. I havent change the settings on it ever since we moved in our townhouse we have been here for two years, later she has been complaining about the bass... WTF. She tells me "If i can hear it upstairs, do you think about if the neighbors?" I was watching the movie at 5:30pm, its not like i'm watching it way late. I cant go over to the neighbors and yell at her for being a single parent and the kids are screaming when i'm trying to go to bed at 10, when i wake up at 5. WTF. I love my wife very much but she as been a bit of a ass lately. Does anyone on the board, there wife does the same thing?

I'm lucky, my wife is as big a movie buff as I am. She watches tons of movies with me in our HT room in the basement. On the rare occasion that I watch one when without her and she's upstairs, she doesn't seem to care much about the bass. Then again I built the room to be "somewhat" sound proof from the rest of the house.

As for neighbors, my room is half underground so the sound is not an issue. I checked standing just outside the house with the volume set at my standard volume level and played the Omaha Beach invasion from Saving Private Ryan and you couldn't hear a thing.:D

My wife does stupid s*8t like that. When Im working in the garage, watching a movie etc. She drives me crazy sometimes. I just dont put up with her BS.
I told her on many occasions she is more than welcme to leave if she doesnt liek it here. She hasnt left yet. She may be upset abotu somethign but liek most women she cant just come out and say it you have to fucking guess what is troubling her ass.

That is pretty much all she "naggs" about. She feels that she has to work two jobs because of her Credit cards, so we can pay them off and get a house. OH how i cant wait to get a house and play in the garage or in the basement.

i agree with project dog...once you get a "man cave"..aka GARAGE....you can do almost anything and she wont mess with you much...unless you were like me..garage meant that i could do even more 2 day projects and hide out in there working on my car.....then she complained that i was out there way too much.....if she is anything like my ex( if she is...i feel for yah...batton down the hatches...its a hard and bumpy ride.)....she'll find something to complain about.....even if its only the color of your shoes...or the smell of finely sanded bondo or welding in the garage...keep your nutts out of your mouth put'em in hers and stand your ground....once they start to "tighten the leash"......they dont stop....

I guess we all do shit that pisses off the 'better half'! There's some things that Martha does that pisses me off and there some things I do that pisses her off, but after 20+ years together, we've learned to live with them. :mullet:

x2, even after 12 years we still do things that annoy each other. I wouldn't try to change her though because she is who she is, I just ignore her sometimes.:blahblah:

No probs here, no man cave... most of the time she's helping me with the truck anyway in the garage. No man alone time on the ATV either, she rides too... none at the range either... she's got here own 9mm.

Ya, we have been looking at house, all over washington and even into Idaho where her sister lives. I would like to get a house with a basement, AKA "MAN CAVE" and then a two or three car garage or even a shop too. Oh wait and see.
