this is a nock off om my thread in general parts but i really want to know what all the gen 2 guys are running for electric fans. i cant seem to find one that will fit the radiator perfect that has a high cfm rating.

That's because there is no year/model specific kit for our Daks. All that's available are universal kits that need to be fitted. A while back, some of us were fortunate (and I use that term loosely) enough to buy a one off "BeCool" radiator/fan combo kit from GSM Motorsports. GSM is no longer in Business. There are many good kits out there that many guys are running. Good luck!

I'm using the flex-a-lite 210 with a griffin radiator on my 91. The 210 is a good fit.

It's a carbed 390 stroker but yes it started as a 5.2L.

It normally runs around 190. In the summer it gets up to around 210 but I'm running a 3800 stall. When the trans temp goes up so does the coolant temp. I'm installing a larger trans cooler mounted in front of the radiator and am considering adding a small 10 or 12 inch pusher fan on the cooler. My real opinion is it's marginal with my set-up. If I had a/c it would not cool.

I had a 3.8 tauraus fan on mine and it did pretty good. The shroud is almost a perfect fit. Never got to test it out in the summer heat though, being that truck's been off the road since may lol.

whats the 210 come with? it says its comes as kit on summit, but when you look at the pics of the 220 it shows that it comes with a bunch of brackets and wires but its cheaper? maybe they have the pics swapped?

Not sure on the years, but I think the taurus only had the 3.8 up until '95. So, '95 and below. Look for one that has a 3.8 in it and has 3 wires (hi/lo and ground) on the wiring harness. A mark VIII fan will work too.
The junkyard I got mine from might have another if you'd like me to take a look.
