so my friend tells me that there having a "dyno day" over at this shop. its 30$ for 3 pulls. it'll be the first time for the D. what do you think?

if yes, what do you think ill be at?
2001 4.7L
K&N FIPK
borla cat back exhaust
superchips tuner
Fastman TB

Why not? It would be fun just to do it and 30 bucks for 3 pulls sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I have a buddy that used to have a shop with a dyno and I think he wanted a lot more than that for 3 pulls.

--idk im just worried about the trannny. nothing wrong with it at all. but my dad keeps telling me everytime i go to the dragstrip, or something like this "dont blow the tranny!" so ya, gives me second thoughts....

Do it and have a little fun. There will always be someone with more horsepower out there, so dont sweat it and enjoy.

That's rubbish.

No, go use the $30 dollars for a hooker. :slap:

It's $100-$150 an hour here for it, I'd gladly dish out $30 for a couple pulls.

$30 for 3 is dirt cheap.

You'll be fine - have a good time and learn how much you're putting to the ground. If you mod the truck in the future, head back to the same shop for a do-over and see how much hp/tq your parts helped.
