if a small wild animal jumps in front of me--I try to hit them. darwinism. if the animal is too dumb to think he can live by jumping in front of a 4000 lb vehicle moving at 60 mph...they shouldn't be able to reproduce anymore. it just makes you and me dumber.

think about it. if squirls become dumber, then whatever eats them gets dumber because they don't have to out-think the squirl. it works it way up the foodchain to us.

dumber squirls mean dumb people.

I'm just doing my part at trying to reduce the number of stupid people in the world today
LOL, you just CAN'T argue with that logic. Well played :D

Sorry to hear about your dog bro. It's never easy trying to get over your loving pet's death even if you did only have him for a little while. Don't pay any attention to Jecht. We'll flame him for you, you already have too much to deal with, with the loss of your dog.

Take care.

Thanks man, I appreciate that. On a better note I just got another dog. Doing things much differently now. He stays inside during the day, when he goes outside he's either walked on a leash or in the pen, and attached to a long lead, just in case he manages to find a way out of the pen, the lead will be an extra barrier. When I'm at work a relative comes over to let him out to relive himself. Since this dog is so much younger than the other one I have him enrolled in obedience classes too. New dog is a pit/rot mix gonna be a large dog, which is how he got his name...Diesel.

Nice! Glad to hear that man. That has got to be a good looking dog. I used to have a Rot/German Shepard mix and she was huge! Her paws were as big as my hands....throw some pictures up when you get a chance.

He's only 4 months old and he's all paws...which is amazing because for all the paws he has he has absolutely no coordination, lol. Hilarious when he tries to go from a dead stop to a full out run on our wood floors, runs through everything before he gets to where he wants to go. He seems to have more of the Rotweiler look than the Pit, he's all brown except for the muzzle area is black. Very good dog so far, only problem is I've got him half trained to go outside to use the bathroom, he doesn't seem to want to take care of his other business unless its in the house, lol  I'll let him outside for an hour or so to take care of business yet he comes in the house and leaves a nice pile on the floor. The Shelter I got him at had a Rot/German Shepard mix, about 4 months old, very nice dog but he had 10 adoption applications on him already.

LOL, cool. I can't wait to get another dog. The old lady wanted a cat, we got one, now she wants the cat gone. So I told her that the next animal we get is a dog and I'm picking it out. Sounds like a good dog man.

Yeah, he's a great little dog. Almost bought a purepred Doberman but I knew those will find good homes easily so I went to a shelter and found Diesel.

Ah Damn...I've always wanted a Doberman. I'm like you though...every pet that I've had has been from the shelter. Why not save one from dying instead of buying one outright from someone. Most likely, the animal shelters are cheaper than buying one from another person anyway.

Diesel's a badass name too.

Doberman's are absolutely awesome, but purebreds always get to go to a home, shelter animals aren't always that lucky. As soon as I saw this dog I signed the application forms, the next day the shelter called and said I could pick him up. The shelter gave him the temporary name "Freddy" but Diesel is a much more suitable name for him. More than likely he's a Cummins because he's always moving around plowing through things and never stopping, certainly not a Powerstroke or Duramax, lol.
