For some reason my left Turn signal stays on with my head lights. And when I have my head lights off and use the left signal the whole dash board lights up. It just started doing this and nothing in the manual helps. I tried all the fuses and they are all good. It has been cold and wet here could it be from that? :help: I am usually good at figuring these crazy things out but I am stumped!!!

okay a grounded short! That would cause the whole dashboard to light up when the headlights are out and the left turn signal is used. It doesn't stay on when the headlights are out. So what do I need to do to fix this and and can I do it myself? Would by chance the headlight switch be a cause? My headlights don't always go out when I turn them off. I am constintly checking to see if they are off when I need to use them on rainy days! My husband says the switch may need to be replaced. I am just trying to find out what else could possibly cause this problem. Kinda doing my own research. Thanks for the info!!

The husband was undere the truck looking for the wire that had a problem. Come to find out it was in the rear left taillight. So he is going to sotter it tommorrow! But it did turn the left turn signal light off when the head lights are on. Thanks guys!!! :banana2:

See - us guys are worth something (don't ask my ex-wife). The wire was grounding it out...every so often. Had the same (type) of thing happen when I nsapped a ground strap wheelin'.
