i took the chance and did mine and dont regret it! it made the truck run a whole lot better...the truck had nearly 100k miles at the time and had prolly never been cleaned up.

this is a pic i took after the first huge cloud went away...i didnt expect it to be so much so i ran to get the camera and gassed it some more haha :mullet:

with the first cloud, i couldnt see the street...and later on, i noticed a cop slowly drive by checkin things out :jester:

I am doing mine today. It would be kind of funny for somebody to test drive a new srt8 challenger and on the test drive put some in it and when it started to smoke take it back to the dealer and sit in the parking lot letting it run. They would shit.

It wont smoke if its not dirty I dont think... I put some in mine the first time and it smoked now it never smokes anymore...

i done it 3 ways,,1/3 in tank,1/3 in oil,1/3 thru main vacum line to the brake booster, when doing let it take it gradually so it wont kill it too quickly,,also make sure your motor is up too full running temps before starting,,once you get desired amount thru the brake booster let it die its self out,,and let it sit..if mem serves right i let it sit for 20 mins or so,,then started it back up and watch the smoke show roll...but if you put it in your oil make sure and change your oil very soon after,as its been said it will dry out your rings...

I just did mine, well I just started my truck and damn. It looks like the rings are gone. I never seen it smoke before, let alone like this. It is the first time I done it and I used 1/3 thru the brake vac line.

so uh... no one knows anything about it eating injector o rings?

or what those are and how to replace? I'm iffy about dumping a chemical in my truck that i've never used. i know alot of people recommend it but i dont want to be one of those people who's had a bad experience with it.
can i check the o rings to see if they're good or bad? what'd I be looking for?

Last time I fiddled with a fuel injection car(fix me if I'm wrong) the o-ring is almost near the middle from the bottom up on the injector on the outside and the injector would squirt from the middle into the chamber.

So, I don't see how it could possibly eat the O-ring.

O-rings can dry-rot or crack or just snap in two or four or six. :jester:

It will do nothing to the injector orings cause it will never touch them. I just dumped a whole bottle in my tank the other day and i can notice a differance in pep and exceleration. I'll prolly do the booster thing in a few weeks

Hmm, it is a pita trying to keep a steady pour through the TB without the engine dying. Guess next oil change ill try it through the booster. thanks

booster eh?

... I guess this is the part where i should say I do better under the 'hood' of a computer(building computers) than i do under the hood of a car.

Brake booster...has a vacuum line that will suck the seafoam into the motor

Booster---Drivers side, big black and round.:funny: Take the big hose, it connects to the intake manifold.
